Swipe your finger anywhere in the waveform to scroll back and forth.
Changing your selection
Moving your selection
To move your selection, you can touch and drag in the move area to slide the selection back and forth.
If you get to the edge of the screen, the waveform will scroll automatically.
You can double tap in the waveform outside of the selection to move the waveform to that point.
Resizing your selection
To move the start of your ringtone, you can touch and drag in the selection start area to move the
start of the ringtone back and forth.
To move the end of your ringtone, you can touch and drag in the selection end area to move the end of the ringtone back and forth.
If you get to the edge of the screen, the waveform will scroll automatically.
Fade In and Fade Out
You can turn the fade in and fade out on and off by pressing the fade in and fade out buttons. When the buttons are blue they are turned on. The music fades in over a period of one second.
Gap
The gap button shows how much silence will be added to the end of your ringtone. This can be used to have a gap between the rings, if desired. Pressing the gap button will pop up a menu that lets you choose among the following gap lengths: 0, 1/2, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 seconds.
Previewing
Press the Preview button to start previewing your ringtone. The preview will keep playing until you
press the stop button. You can also double tap anywhere in the selection to start previewing from
that location. The preview will include the fade in, fade out, and gap.
Exporting
Press the Export button to export your ringtone. A menu will appear that will give you the choice
of how to save your ringtone, sending via email or saving to iTunes file sharing.
